Amendments to Federal Decree-Law on Tax Procedures and Federal Decree-Law on Value Added Tax
The new Federal Decree-Law have been adopted:
* Federal Decree-Law No. 17 of 2024 on tax procedures introduces:
– A definition for the “einvoicing system”* Authority for the Minister of Finance to issue the necessary decisions to implement the system
– The effective dates of the system, as well as the requirements and entities subject to it.
* Federal Decree-LawNo. 16 of 2024 on VAT introduces:
– Expanded definitions of “tax invoice” and “tax credit note”
– New definitions for electronic invoices and electronic credit notes the requirements and entities subject to it.
